Where to live in Seattle

I’m moving to Seattle and the office is beside the SLU. I want to live near the office but still have something my wife can do with our baby nearby. Any suggestions? It would be great if it’s walking distance to work and if not where Facebook shuttle runs...

Where are you coming from my friend? Welcome. Have a great stay. Don’t pay attention to nay sayers.

Queen Anne, Fremont, Wallingford. Ballard will be too far.

Ballard is good. SLU has too many constructions.

I live in an Amli apartment in Wallingford near gas works park. It's really nice. Let me know if you want a referral.

SLU is a great place to live even with kid. We moved here with kid recently and loving it. Where are you moving from? What are you looking specifically?

Queen Anne is a nice and quiet neighborhood, great school district too.

Live at Juxt and have a 2 minutes commute. Source - lived there and all of the FB workers thought of me as literal human garbage.

Have you tried showering?

2x a day. Sadly the scent of Amazon can’t be washed off.

Wallingford or Fremont are your best bet. Eastlake is up and coming but lacks a grocery store and gas station nearby. Ignore Ballard, you're too out of the way. Stay away from U District!

Capital Hill is a ~20 min walk to SLU and parts are very family oriented. Central Distirct is a little further, cheaper, not as nice, but still has some nice family areas

If you're going to the Seattle Facebook office in Seattle, it's right between North SLU and Queen Ann. Fremont or Ballard will likely be easier then cap hill. Beltown is also an option if you want taller buildings and more street noise.
