What was the story behind it?
Let me guess - dogs shitting on the carpet brought about the change in policy? Dogs don’t belong in the office period.
Microsoft stopped allowing dogs in the offices within the past year or so. Not sure of the exact reason but I wouldn’t doubt that it was a cultural issue between Americans bringing their dogs into work vs Indians who are afraid of dogs due to bad experiences in their country
Story: 💩💩💩💩💩
It’s pretty ironic (almost funny) how Amazon preaches diversity and inclusion and blah blah blah yet they allow people to bring dogs into work when at least 50% of employees (Indians) are absolutely terrified of dogs.
1. Stop speaking for all Indians. 2. Dogs add more diversity than most Indians do!
I’m white I don’t speak for Indians

And probably considering discrimination. Some people can’t breath and can die from and asthma attack...others get horrible rashes due to dog allergens in the air. It’s like smoking indoors but worst for some people who get serious health problems. I heard Lyft told a person who can die to just take meds. Dogs at work is such a weird policy.
Dogs add more diversity to the company than many of their employees do. And dogs are way less annoying than kids!
But it’s okay to exclude human beings for dogs?
I am quitting Amazon because I hate dogs in the office, in elevators, kitchen, etc. If not for dogs, I would never know I can make 70% more and not be oncall. So thank you dogs for improving my work conditions!
Dogs in the office is really disgusting
Dogs are adorable as long as they're not barking or biting or bothering too much 😂
