Which companies hire SDE - 2s directly after graduation?
I'm graduating this May with a Master's in Computer Science. I also have 2 years of experience (SDE) prior to MS in my home country. Most of companies are interviewing me for SDE 1. Wanted to know if there are some out there that interview for SDE 2 and values prior experience.
Lot of masters students I see are still hired for SDE1. This is unless your masters makes you uniquely qualified for the job you are applying

Amazon and Microsoft don't consider work experience attained outside US. It's highly unlikely that you would get SDE 2 just after graduation.
Have seen many new grads landing sde2 positions with experience abroad given they perform well interviews
May be at Goldman Sachs
Def not Amazon, the PhD on my team was hired as an SDEI after graduating
Amazon and Microsoft if you do well in interviews and have experience prior to attending grad school
Got SDE 1 from Amazon. Trying to talk to recruiters for more interview. Will try for Microsoft too! Thank you
