Which companies pay you to stay long term?

Which among the top companies actually pay you at market competitive TC. It could be annual refreshers, bonuses or just stock growth. This is without boomerangs or external interview every annual review. Edit: Same TC you could earn it you switched outside or what a new guy would be paid if he joined you today Tldr: which is the top company to work long? TC: 220

Amazon doesn’t

How do you define market competitive TC if not by what the top employers will pay?

Google. I know people who were given a pay cut, down leveled but eventually caught up well in the long term

Dell LUHV04 Dec 3, 2019

So regardless of what google initially offers , take it and then in long term you will be in competitive situation ?

That is what I have heard from few people, of course if your performance is good

Facebook llp6 Dec 3, 2019

Microsoft TC_slut OP Dec 3, 2019

How about Twitter, LinkedIn, Lyft, Uber, snap,Apple, Netflix? Does anyone apart from fb not care to retain employee? MS for sure motivates you to move out

Apple maybe?

Amazon OlAl28 Dec 3, 2019

I gotta GTFO Amazon...

Cisco 🌚💡R Dec 3, 2019

Is it that bad?

Amazon OlAl28 Dec 3, 2019

Top performers don't get shit. I was a top performer the previous two years. I just got promoted and I got moved to the bottom of the band for the next level along with everyone else who got promoted, even if they were low/medium performers the previous two years. So they got a 40% bump on promo and I got a 10% bump, even though it's well documented that I'm out performing the others.
