Which companies pay you to stay long term?
Which among the top companies actually pay you at market competitive TC. It could be annual refreshers, bonuses or just stock growth. This is without boomerangs or external interview every annual review. Google. I know people who were given a pay cut, down leveled but eventually caught up well in the long term
So regardless of what google initially offers , take it and then in long term you will be in competitive situation ?

How about Twitter, LinkedIn, Lyft, Uber, snap,Apple, Netflix? Does anyone apart from fb not care to retain employee? MS for sure motivates you to move out

Top performers don't get shit. I was a top performer the previous two years. I just got promoted and I got moved to the bottom of the band for the next level along with everyone else who got promoted, even if they were low/medium performers the previous two years. So they got a 40% bump on promo and I got a 10% bump, even though it's well documented that I'm out performing the others.
