Which is better on resume Capital one vs Walmart for software Engineer
I currently work at capital one and got an offer from Walmart. Is Walmart better than capital one on resume?
if its for the position of a greeter then id say Capital One is better.
Neither is prestigious or impressive to anyone. Not engineers and not regular people. So pick the one where you can build better experience.
Capitalone. Walmart has a ton of shitty culture- be prepared to deal with it
Walmart is the #1 brick and mortar retailer in the world. Capital One is the #5 credit card company. Walmart isn't the #1 e-commerce but they still do interesting things.
Cap One will become Walmart's credit card provider in August.

Both will be viewed as non-tech companies with baggage.

Also if one of them is using azure or aws that’s a big plus. I’m at Msft so obv go with azure. Cloud experience is big
