Salesforce: $100k base 40% bonus $150k RSU over 4 years vs. New Company Startup but IPO'd: $100k base 40% bonus 10,000 Options at $10 strike price. I have a good feeling this will be at $40 by end of next year.
Objectively what do you think is more valuable. 150k rsu of salesforce over 4 years or 10000 options of new company.
Expecting an IPO company to quadruple in 12 months when the bull market is already 8+ years old is pretty optimistic. Is this a sales position? 40% bonus sounds mighty high for a 100k base
Can't be sales, Salesforce doesn't give RSU'S to sales.
If you are young (20s) and the start up is working on something that excites to you, go for that. Btw, ipo company cannot be a "startup" š
40% bonus? Which position is this?
Sales force. Strike price of $10 is super high unless you are confusing the stocks current worth with strike price. Strikeprice is what you pay per option to buy them when they vest. So you have to pay 100K to buy them at end of 4 yrs . Youāll be stuck if you donāt have money to buy them.
Yoe? Location ?
Salesforce of course
What why?
