Which team at Google is best for a product analyst, data science to do some ML
I heard alot about product analysts at Google only doing Sql and dashboarding. Although it varies by team. Anyone at Google can say which team (ads, maps etc) can have the most quantitative work for a product analyst, data science role? #google #datascience #product #machinelearning

Both Maps and Ads have great ML problems, especially when you can get into Quality teams. I have been in both teams and majority of time I build ML (deep learning) models, analyze data, features, etc. Normally quality team are split into Quality engineer and infra engineer, and the role you mentioned belongs to quality part. The only downside is it tends to require more dedication from you (not a 9-5 job) because its modelling and the answer is not definite.
The role is not engineering, it's called a product analyst, data science and it seems that the stakeholders are PMs and not very technical people when I interviewed. Do product analysts get to work on modelling stuff too?
