Btw I do understand the security concerns but it is not practical to exclude them from working on AI stuff in the US.
This will be as useless as the security export ban shit they did on encryption. Every company ended up going to Europe or Israel to develop them and get around the ban. Same will happen to AI.

Interesting. I guess it might even be something good to consider, but since it’s coming from the Trump Administration, I expect this effort to go nowhere or to be counterproductive and hurt the very people from China who would otherwise share THEIR expertise with us.
