Who is at most risk after acquisition "restructuring"

Is fifo or lifo more common? Also what departments tend to take the brunt, assuming the acquiring company is not dropping specific locations or product branches wholesale

Anything back office, not related to products or revenue is at risk. They already have accounting, hr, legal, etc but probably don't know how to build, sell, or support your product.
