Who is buying all the houses in San Jose ?
Houses in San Jose are selling for way more than the asking price. These are not great houses or even good school districts. Is this because of google HQ2 coming to San Jose? I even heard a weirder rumor about google buying these; any truth in these?

People who can’t afford MV, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, or PA. Or just want more bang for their buck.
San Jose is generally more affordable that surrounding cities in the South Bay. People who are priced out of Mountain View/Sunnyvale/etc are sweeping up the inventory and driving up prices. Our home in San Jose has gone up 37% since we bought it in late 2015.
The Chinese loaded with cash.
