Just a shower thought, but I feel there's a good chance history won't be as kind to Jobs as he's remembered today. Before iPods, Chinese manufacturing was notoriously poor quality. With Jobs being one of the more notable names that are responsible for getting good quality products out of China, and China's newly minted position as the leader in manufacturing, Jobs may well be remembered for the fall of U.S. dominance in trade.
I 'member. My uncle worked for him at that time and he would complain all the time. But with Melinda he has done a lot of non evil stuff. Most successful entrepreneurs do cutthroat things, or evil things. But at least Bill lived long and successful to do some very charitable acts.
CEOs in general are a different breed. I worked for a right bastard once, and most of the CEOs I've met have possessed a questionable humanity. Hard to say among that rogues' gallery. I'd need to know them better. Bill Gates today seems a decent chap.
Mark Zuckerberg who donated the largest donation ever to SF General Hospital, and has a charity foundation coming up is the worst person, according to Blinders many of whom don't even donate 1% of money to charity!!!
I agree. There are two sides to the coin . In order to make wealth you got to be ruthless and sometimes bend rules. But post that giving back all one has earned is still a noble gesture. These guys are still better than most bogus politicians
