The "average" contract nowadays is 80w2, and no lower than 60 Say you bid that up to 100 Then it's 115c2c 240k base is an E7 at Facebook, furthermore C2C evades taxes. FAANG is just if you want a steady job, everything else pays more except the signon bonus. Excluding Netflix ofc. FAAG

Can you explain what’s 80w2, 60, bidding up to 100, 115 c2c. The llc idea is interesting to save taxes, and it would be nice if companies offered this employment contract.
"just if you want a steady job" is a damn huge "just"

That “just” can include, but is not limited to: stock, bonus, PTO, medical/dental/mental health insurance, continuing education stipend, food, transportation, internal mobility if you want a new project but don’t want to re-apply, and the general serenity one enjoys knowing that one isn’t always a single call away from being back on the job hunt. If you also have a family who gets to benefit from all of the above, that “just” is worth its weight in pre-IPO AMZN shares.
