Why are gold diggers frowned upon?

Why are such people shamed? We spent 25-30 years pursuing an education. We only have our 30s and 40s majorly to enjoy after which health problems and lack of energy takes us over, so do we really wanna keep rubbing our ass at work?

Those who get the option to marry a rich man/woman are lucky ones and I don't see any reason why they shouldn't grab that opportunity.

Let's be honest - we all have our inflection points. Maybe we won't give up our ethics for 500k, but how about a million? What if someone offered us 2M tomorrow, or 10M? I am sure we all will take that money, give up working, and enjoy the rest of our lives. That's exactly what gold diggers do, what's wrong with that?

If I were a hot ass sexy woman, I would totally look into that option.

Good diggers can dig well. They benefit society so when manual excavation is required (usually in sensitive areas with live electrical wires) companies can still dig. I see nothing wrong here.

Also finding money as the most redeemable quality in your partner is pretty shallow and scummy. So is mostly valuing a person for their looks. If you are ok with being scummy and trashy from both parties than I guess they deserve each other? A relationship built on superficial bs like money and looks is not going to last. Anyway who cares imo

It's not the liking money part that people judge. It's the pretending to like someone so that you can use their money part that people judge.

And if your point is that "everyone gives up their ethics for money", then a) No, not everybody would do it. b) If there are no ethics/values/baseline, what's wrong with being judgemental/hypocritical?

As long as both parties are aware, I don’t care.

“Hey. I don’t care about your looks but I like the lifestyle your money can give me. In return, I’ll be your eye candy attached to your arm as necessary at social events, wearing sexy outfits so everyone can see what you’re getting at home, and when we’re at home, you can have my body however you want it.”

“OK, cool. Pick you up at 7. Wear heels and that little black dress. No bra.”

“See you at 7, hon! Bring me a bracelet.”

Except do they actually do that in private or just public. I imagine most just do nothing and cheat on you. And if you do have sex with them they probably hate you during it.

Why would they hate if sex is good?

Because women in general are frowned upon. Especially on this app if you hadn’t noticed

Yes, it's so loud that it's tough to ignore how men perceive women when they don't have the fear of being identified

Greed is unattractive. Those on this app are sometimes disgusting with their greed. They are way worse than gold diggers in some ways

Gold diggers are extremely honest. More so than many other people. I hold nothing against them

I am from europe so I may have different point of view. For me it is because it makes me feel they value money over personality and relationships. And that I associate with a lack of self respect (if one needs money to proof themselves)

Well it's all about looking at a person holistically. Looks, money, personality, values, empathy, intelligence etc. Focusing too much on one attribute is just bad science.
