How hard is it? Are they so incompetent/lazy?
Maybe they are working with better candidates, who is incompetent and lazy now?
If a person G scores 1200 points based off of interviewing and other stats, but everyone else scores 1206 and above, is G incompetent and lazy? That's a horrible argument.
Big companies interview tens of thousands of people, if G is literally the bottom of a massive barrel then yes...
I hear ya. Recruiters are very odd.
Im sure they have priority candidates and others. You determine where you fall.
Not the best use of their time to follow up then get questions and get into an argument because every candidate thinks they are the most qualified person in the world. Plus everyone has short attention spans so the perceived PR damage of ghosting you is extremely limited.
Back at it again using strawmen for reasoning. Come on, man.
Get a second and third offer and then watch how fast they reply.
Sometimes they are managing over 100 candidates a week plus hiring managers and key stakeholders. Meetings, interviews, debriefs, speaking to candidates, etc. Unfortunately, you are one of many candidates. They can't get to everyone as fast as they wish. If you haven't heard from your recruiter, reach out. Now after you've reached out, they still don't respond then move on. They are jerks.

Is it okay to wear a T-shirt to the office?
You try keeping up with dozens of emails and messages when half your day is booked talking with hiring managers and the other half is back to back calls with candidates. I don’t think it’s laziness, but some are better able to manage what little available time they have then others.
“Dozens of emails” LOL....
literally tens of emails
