Is it not legal to use company logo in LinkedIn if you are a contractor
How do you expect them to say where they worked and get found - higher results with the logo vs without? They're trying to make a living too and the work itself is like an employee Also, not sure of the legality but we already live in times where certain groups try to make it difficult for other groups. This is such an unnecessary policing, much bigger societal issues to focus on...
No one will bat an eye if you write that
Did they hire you? Did you pass the bar of their FTEs? I know plenty of contractors who have worked at companies I've been at, but most are brought in for low end work, so I think it's disengenous to try and carry a brand that you haven't earned , otherwise there would probably be lots of developers/engineers who suddenly worked at msft, google, fb, but never had to rise to that level
People put stanford or berkeley when they just do a 6mo after work certificate
Background check will do its job
They don’t want their brand diluted
Who is saying you can’t put the logo?
You never worked for LinkedIn.
Eh. They didn't write the checks, but everything else is pretty much the same, isn't it? Seems a bit controlling to tell people not to say "LinkedIn (contract with x)"
