Consultants and Agencies demand X2~X3 the FTE pay to compensate for the downtimes and risk (plus taxes and other overhead). If FANG employees avg. tenure is similar to that of a consultant, shouldn't they demand hourly rates that of a consultant? I see many suckers in Big Tech backstabbing each other + immigrant labor supply flooding + marginal compensation for WLB destroying demands by the employer. This is why Americans don't do tech but set their careers into protected guilds like law and medicine.
I highly disagree of this unless some shit team or manager
Don’t you worry about pip?
Long story short, I initially did but not anymore. I would rather be studying than contemplating on it
Turn over in tech is by employee choice, not because the work is unstable.
Someone never worked at amazon
"Hey, must be the monaaaaay!"
This post is based on incorrect assumptions.
"New" it's a troll post
OP being a doctor and lawyer I would argue is much tougher work than what most tech employees do. All the tech Perks are almost non existent in law/medicine and much longer hours
Nothing about my job is unstable.

What? Tech is about as stable as it gets. High demand, low supply, unreal compensation for easy work, and global high margin businesses thrive in all types of markets.
Where are ppl getting all the “low supply” from? Our colleges are pumping out lots and lots of cs students
I get it from almost 3 decades working in tech and never being able to hire as many people as I need. Maybe low qualified supply is the clarification you want?
