Why don't you work for Salesforce?

Heard nothing but good things. Why doesn't everyone want to work there, or do they? šŸ¤”

Back when I interviewed they said they don't offer stock awards for sales people. šŸ–•

They told me no sign on and base was significantly lower than competitive offers. Guess it depends on the team.

Salesforce Sa1esforce Jun 5, 2019

Base being lower is rare here. It may happen but most teams would give generous base salaries; RSU is not very much honestly, and refresher is worse.

This was few years ago and I had about 20k higher base bay on competitive offers. Yes, RSU was comparable.

Base pay was significantly lower than my other offer. Iā€™m about to tell them that Iā€™m not accepting their offer.

What was the base they offered? Curious

My brother in law is a sales executive there so I had a really strong referral. They offered, I passed and donā€™t regret it. Many factors. It came off as if the engineering is on the weaker side for such a big company, average TC, inflated titles, terrible commute, and I couldnā€™t see how I could work with the hiring manager as she was extremely rude. So for those factors I passed. I say itā€™s a better company for non-engineers. Just not my cup of tea.

Manager is the main reason most of the times.
