I make $200k cash + 15% bonus. Got 58k RSUs over 4 years. Just interviewed for a similar job at Airbnb and the salary was the same except $400k RSUs! Salesforce seems horribly, horribly off market here. I’m non-engineering GBO.
Can you sell arbnb's RSU?
ha ha, of course not but you’d take 15k a year liquid over 100k a year in Airbnb stock (which has a great chance of higher value post IPO)? Airbnb will go public, one day...
Are you sure you'll be with Airbnb when that happens? All these RSUs may expire after you leave. Or can get dilluted.
How do you decide on unit price. Company can over price from their end? You 400k might be 100k actually at ipo
Airbnb is not Domo. Does anyone doubt it will be a $100b company one day? Same as Uber.
Uber burns money like there’s no tomorrow. At least Airbnb is profitable...
More like Airbnb is above market. Plus, private startups have to give more RSUs anyway to account for risk
Generally companies that see high upside in stocks are stingy. It's a way of signalling. I don't see reasons why SF's growth rate would stall.
I know why their growth could stall -- no RSUs 😂😂😂
I'm in the same boat, they're definitely penalizing loyalty. No point in continuing in Salesforce after 4 years unless there is some strong reason to stay back.
Lol we are talking about non eng GBO..I'm surprised they even give you anything there.
Even engineers at Salesforce get 🥜 for RSU
