Why people dont like east bay? Especially if your company has an office up there as well like sap ericsson etc, why people dont want to move to east bay like Pleasanton dublin san ramon. I never lived there but house prices are much normal there. Some people say it is hot up there but who cares
You’ll get robbed in the way bay
It’s for those who can’t afford the South Bay Soong think of it as a compromise
As a San Francisco resident I visit Oakland about as often as I visit New York. That’s because I live as though the world doesn’t exist outside of SF.
Because east bay is shitty
White hot suburban and boring
I like east bay. Less tech people here.
High crime, worst traffic in entire Bay (try going north, south, or west in the morning, after work, or on the weekend), it's overexposed to wildfire and earthquakes (Oakland is on the Hayward fault), there's a dreary sad feeling everywhere, BART is super dangerous (regular fights/brawls, mass gunpoint robbery 2 years ago) and crowded, drive by shootings happen regularly in Oakland.
Hahaha I love how you’re trying to scare them away from moving to the east bay. But no worries OP is getting his towns messed up and lumping it all as “east bay”. #thizzFace
Seems like you just have a really strong bias against Oakland
East Bay is great. I have lived and commuted from Ashby BART area for years and it's fine. Shorter commute than, say, the Sunset. (40min door to door.)
Lol at all the east bay haters from south bay. They have no idea about the pockets of good areas in east bay
Pleasanton Dublin and and San Ramon isn’t the eat bay that’s the tri valley. Typical transplant
grew up in contract costa and always thought of alameda as part of the east bay never met anyone who hasn't until this comment
JFC. You’re a white boy huh. Of course you did.
