Why was the post by cap one guy regarding communication issues with Indians flagged?

I am highly upset with people who reported that post. Have we regressed to a point where we take observations as insults? Can we not have mature conversations and offer help to a new grad trying to adjust in a new working environment? Can we not take feedback and try to work on improving ourselves so it turns each one of us into a better person and creates a positive work environment for everyone? Do we not want everyone to love working with their team members?

OP, aren’t you a cutie? You are worried about a racist and blind community was worried about the impact of that racist post.

Within seconds that post was brewing into a cesspool of racist replies. And some nut would have identified with these posts and caused a real harm to someone.

If that racist really wants help then should talk to a therapist or his mom. DO NOT normalize hate and racism here.

      That nut is you.

      1. It wasn't a racist post. Had you tried to understand, that guy was seeking advice, not insulting anyone.
      2. Let's accept that none of us can claim to have a perfect English/communication. If other peoples' work is being impacted, isn't it better to take that as feedback and try to work on our own self?

Jesus Lending Club, get a grip. The person was asking for help because they had a legitimate problem.

Your dismissal of the problem speaks to the enormous privilege you have. Unreal.

Yes, he was genuinely looking for advice. Some people here made him feel so bad for seeking an advice that he would probably quietly get back to work and hate Indians even further for not supporting him.

Same here, I posted a reply about my experience with a company that had 90% Indians, and when I opened that thread back 15 seconds later, it was gone. I am an Indian myself, was hoping to be of some help to that guy.

It was deleted because of people like Lending Club above who oppose open discourse. These insecure babies like all of their own posts in a feeble attempt at validation and call others racist idiots for disagreeing with their echo chamber mindset.

Confirmation bias much? There are snowflakes on the right and left. Case in point: people getting upset over kneeling during a football game.

OP was a new grad facing communication issues with Indian people in his team because of their English, and was looking for advice.
