Wife Got 221 g blue slip for H4 visa
My wife got 221g slip in H4 interview asking more documents. We have sent all documents via email as asked. How long can they take to respond?

Sheβs in India? Mein yahan tu wahan π It can vary a lot man... if they asked for a lot of things, it can take up to a month or 2. I donno if the shutdown is affecting consulates abroad
We just got email from them saying inquiry is closed and asking to submit Passport to nearest VAC- Visa Application center. I got happy and called helpline for more details. They said it can again take up to 60 days after submitting passport. Does it normally take that long ?

221g? 6 to 8 weeks. I am not going through H1b immigration issues and I know this because it's a very common question on blind. Next time try using the search feature.
