Not sure if PR thru work visa is a new process altogether but a regular self sponsor pr will take about a year or so, depending on how quick you are. I think there's a forum Canada visa .com you'll get every detail you need over there.
I’m currently in SF and am a native of Vancouver. Eventually interested in relocating back to Vancouver because I think the city is one of the best IMO. Do you mind me asking if the pay differs a lot compared to US for engineering position ?
Yeah, pay is very low in Vancouver. Once you move out of Canada, there is no coming back.
So are you in Amazon Vancouver or Microsoft Vancouver ? How much of a reduction do you see comparing the same positions but different cities ? Vancouver does have lower living costs though, but I’m willing to take a hit on TC in the future to move back.
After getting TN visa, can anyone work in US for indefinite amount of time without hassle of renewing your visa every now and then ?
If you use express entry, it should be 3 years to citizenship. Don’t forget to apply for a TN after that.
so the whole process (applying for Express Entry, entering Canada, getting PR and citizenship) lasts only 3 years??? wow!
No, PR to Citizenship wait is 3 years of physical presence (assuming you're present everyday physically). Time to acquire PR varies.
