Hi, How is work culture, work life balance, future prospects at WeWork for Software Engineering role? Would you recommend to join WeWork ?
I got mixed feedback here on Blind about how high they pay. Perhaps high salaries only to catch FANG senior guys ?
What do software engineers do at WeWork?
WeWork
YouWork, They work but WeDontWork
Seriously...it’s a real estate leasing company. Wtf does it do with tech?
You cant build out, sell, and manage 450 buildings (and 50 more each month) without automating EVERYTHING. I didn't even get into the details of needing to support special payment methods and payment plans, 3d modeling of construction sites, AI-powered discounts engine, predictable occupancy, social networking, and more....
Admittedly you guys in R&D are actually useful, there’s a whole lot of us that feel like we’re spinning our gears. I don’t know why managers keep talking about self-driving chairs like it’s actually gonna happen in the next 5 years lol
I would be worried having to explain in interviews what I did at a construction company. How do you explain a what are you proud of question ?
Hmmmmm if you cant explain a software project that's a big problem on your part, regardless of the company.
Rich, coming from a Glassdoor employee. Haha
They pay really well. That’s all that matters.
