    They have an unhealthy obsession with UML since their proprietary language Xpresso isn’t really a programming language. Expect half of your interview to be drawing UML diagrams and explaining OOP concepts. For example: design a zoo or a parking lot. 1/4 will be coding basic things with strings, arrays, lists, maybe some trees, but it’s all straightforward and nothing complicated. Think leetcode easy problems. The last 1/4 will be behavioral questions with the hiring manager.

    Even though it’s an SDE role and not Application Developer, they still claim you’ll be using Xpresso 50-60% of the time. If you love the team and work, go for it. But you won’t learn any marketable skills to put on your resume.

      Of course it’s always team dependent but that was my experience, and I interviewed 3 times for 2 different teams. It was more or less the same for both.
