Where are most Airbus opportunities in the states located? What's the work like? Hoping to hear from some Airbus employees.
I would bet Wichita — I believe Airbus US engineering HQ is there. Used to be a big Boeing city but we left as it’s Spirit Aerosystems, Cessna, Learjet and Beechcraft
It's great
Late to this thread, but I'd wager a guess towards Mobile AL, they are doing final assembly of the A220 there
There are roughly 4,000 Airbus employees in the US with a decent presence for each division. Main non-production facilities are located in DC area (commercial FW, defense) and DFW area (helicopters). Benefits are very good, pay is ok, work is really slow paced. Hard to make an impact in the US due to European culture and general micromanagement by EU HQ. Office worker demographic is mostly ~45 year olds coasting to retirement.
Me too. I saw openings in Montreal
That’s Bombardier, not airbus. Specifically former C-Series program.
Also, French is very welcome in Airbus/Bombardier
