Working at Gusto

Can anyone provide any insight into how it is working at Gusto? They have an SF and Denver office and I'm looking to see if they are a right fit.

I'm looking for more information regarding WLB, engineering problems, people.

Can be very political and micro managed depending on team. Interviewed and rejected for the above reasons. This could be a bad advice, I could be totally wrong and assumptive/I could have made a big mistake rejecting the offer but I definitely felt the team I spoke to at gusto were trying to show off on who the most important person was.

Wow, political and micromanaged? Couldn’t be farther from the truth.

I smell sarcasm but I had to.pass a great offer from gusto just because I had first hand information from employee who ended up being a common friend. Again this was team specific and hence I put a disclaimer in my original comment too

I would expect very good WLB. They have an an unlimited PTO policy, and it’s actually used liberally unlike some places.
