Working at Instacart as an eng, how's it like these days
Going for an on-site interview at Instacart for swe role. How's working there like? In terms of eng quality, culture, comp etc.

Comp offer I got was not good. People I interviewed with made it sound like everything was on fire.
What was your offer and yoe if u don't mind?

I personally like working here a lot. Eng quality is mixed, big fan of the culture (especially on my team). Comp is middling (better on average than Amazon, but worse than FB). Not sure why people say we won’t IPO. We’re not going to jump a huge amount when we IPO, but our numbers are nowhere near as bad as WeWork.
Shouldn't be much different from Uber.
