Workplace Accident

There was a minor workplace accident where my coworker, tried to quickly get something out of the car trunk, while I was closing it, ended up banging his head. I feel terrible bad, though idk why he thought it would be a good idea jump in. He is totally safe, and just got a head bump. I get very uneasy feeling because I tried to apologize several times, he still seems to hate me. Also, I have sensed some unsettling vibes from few of my team mates. I dont know what to do. Any guidance?!

That seems like more than a minor accident. From the description it sounds like it could’ve gone much worse than it did.

If you make it something, it will be something. Give it space and stop apologizing. Life happens, and there is a bias for normalcy as time passes.

smart advice

Obviously you’re a kind hearted female who cares so much about what other people think about her, first of all it was unintentional, and secondly you apologized for it many times and he still don’t let it go! I would advise you to ignore him and don’t focus so much on how he feels or thinks about you, he obviously realizes you’re having a feeling of guilt towards him so he’s enjoying himself by feeding this feeling you have, ignore him and move on.

If you are 100% sue them. If you are a normal person, laugh at the issue
