I haven’t done shit today!
Level 60 right now. Getting an associate role. Long term career growth wise, who is better?
Gosh no. Unless you're a quant
GS will always make good on your unvested options/grants/rsu whatever. Always.
Don’t do it. Switch to a hotter tech company like FANG
Why? Do you want to get into financial services industry?
GS work hour is long. Not healthy environment
Makes no sense unless you are getting tons more money and even then you have to weigh out everything, benefits, the fact that your not working for a software company anymore etc.
No
No. Only reason to consider would be seriously higher TC and a role which will let you learn and grow more. Most likely you can learn more at MSFT than GS. If your MSFT team isn’t a good fit, look internally or at another tech firm.
There is nothing to learn at MSFT apart from proprietary shit, which will never come handy in other companies.
Yeah, that's why it's so easy for msft people to get interviews at other top companies. Because they haven't learned anything. Makes sense.
Please don’t.
Why leaving Microsoft? How long have you been there? Also career wise, it should be easier to switch to FAANG from Microsoft than Goldman
18 months
Why are you leaving? Tried switching internally?
