If you're a software engineer don't choose NASA.

Because the other two options are way better for software.

Really nice to see NASA still commands respect, as it should. Even though working at the other two might have more transferable skills.

NASA and all federal agencies do too much diversity hires. Also in aerospace, software guys are seen as glorified offshoots of IT.

I just left NASA, if you call 90% white male and over 40 "too many diversity hires" I can only assume you are a white male.

Quite surprised NASA is winning assuming this is for a SDE intern position, from my understanding their hiring bar is pretty low and almost all behavioral

Also the pay is probably much lower than at Snap

      OP
It wasn’t behavioral imo, it was more like if your resume is good and during the interview you’re not a total idiot, you’re hired. But it’s hard to get initial interviews.

Whereas for snap and intel it was much easier to get interviews, but the interviews themselves were harder

From what I heard from an ex-NASA person, NASA is where you go to retire. I voted for NASA anyways given that if you're lucky, you get to work on the rocket ships
