Lmao! Navigation is included in model 3. Cisco doesn't know shit about Tesla.

beach, I use the assistant for a lot more than just navigation. Tesla assistant doesn't hold up to Google Assistant and never will.

    • @doeji all non luxury cars such as Subaru, Honda, Toyota ... come with adaptive cruise control.

A new car is something you keep for 5–15 years. It’s worth getting the one you really want.

Odds are greater there is a hardware enhancement before full autopilot rolls out

Get the standard plus. Really amazing value. Makes me regret my model 3 MR I bought in December :(

Also AP is 100% worth it. FSD remains to be seen but so far not worth it.

For 2500 it's a good value. Up to you Ofc but its alot easier to buy the bigger battery than realize you want it later on. I'm eyeing the LR every day :(

What are you talking about? The 35K car is newly released. I don't think they've delivered any yet.

    • That you will most probably upgrade to a higher end model. You will also probably get one of the crazy add ons. You also need to add a supercharger etcetc.
      Apr 3
    • Tableau / Eng gg2020
No you don't. You can charge off a standard nema 14-xx appliance outlet or even a 110v wall socket (slow but works).

If OP wants the 35k one, then he can get that without any add ons just fine. He doesn't seem very interested in them anyways from the thread.
      Apr 3
    • To add to my comment,I think this is part of the design: the car is so bad in the basic model without any option that you will most probably update to the higher models and end up with the cost of a high end car

This is true. Talk to anyone that’s had minor repair work from a fender bender.
      Apr 4
    • Tableau / Eng gg2020
Maintainance and repair are different things. Repair is mostly huge wait times as well for parts if it's not already in stock. And that's why people have insurance for :)
      Apr 4
    • Microsoft FBisEvil
Insurance doesn’t manufacture parts for you ;) it’s be better to buy from a solvent company with service centers that stock these items
      Apr 4
    • Tableau / Eng gg2020
Insurance for the cost of course.

Parts are a problem (maybe they can put out more now that sales have slowed) but that's how it is for now if you want the best EV experience (so far)

Bought my LR RWD without AP or FSD. Just recently they had a deal where I could add both for $2000+$3000. Went for it. AP is nice. FSD doesn’t really do much yet, but we shall see.

Tesla actually doesn’t currently make M3s. They accept deposit for them, and once they have your money they will delay your delivery perpetually and try and get you into a MR for more money bc they can’t sell their inventory. I don’t even think they’ve sourced their cloth seats yet.

It’s a shady company with questionable reliability. Buyer beware.
    Apr 4 4
    • Microsoft Simmbaa
Not a shady company man. They are just moving way too fast than legacy automobile manufacturers. They need to slow down even if that comes at the expense of their stock price adjusting a bit.

Do you actually own a Tesla?
      Apr 5
    • Microsoft FBisEvil
No offense, but I’m not interested in general excuses. I know if many specifics on how Tesla is a shady company. You may not be aware how mistaken you are but you are mistaken nonetheless.

Aside from selling vaporware, promoting irresponsible use by overselling and demonstrating irresponsible autopilot use, misleading stock and bond holders, engaging in the most brazen act of securities fraud a company can do (a fake buyout), and using Tesla to bailout another insolvent business investment of Elon’s hurting the future financials for the entire company, ...

You can find a range of misleading and unethical business practices at a dealer level in the lawsuit listed here. https://www.plainsite.org/dockets/3xgr44xzq/middlesex-county-superior-court/korb-jason-et-al-v-tesla-inc-et-al/
