A bad manager can have a very negative impact on your life and your family. You can always make more money.

Also, manager can help you grow. Usually the best option in the mid- and high-term.

I’ve been in this situation early on in my career - jumped from a great manager with low pay to a shitty manager with much higher pay. Never again.

Right, but there's some levels of dumpster fire that you really don't want to go near

Look at it this way; a great manager is the type of person who will refer you for opportunities to earn more money this you make more money over the long term.

A terrible manager will ensure you get fired or pipped out of the company thus making your overall earnings less.

How would you know the manager behaviour without working with him? If you have already worked with a manager who was terrible but offering you more money then that money is not worth it.

If the pay is really high, I wouldn’t mind coasting there while ignoring my terrible manager —making some money till I get fired
