Let’s be real here. Coinbase doesn’t really think btc, ETH and Ltc have a bright future for worldwide currency adoption. They have always been in it for the money. Looking at xrp’s current volumes they seem to be missing out on a lot of exchange fees. I don’t think they’ll want to pass up on xrp gains just because of a few inconsistencies in principle.

What is the core purpose of an exchange, any exchange? Make money period! I am sure they will say "Fuck the principles, we gonna make money"
