I'm currently a designer but am looking to get into PM. I have an onsite with Yelp and was told to bring my laptop for a coding interview. I'm freaking out because even though I have a CS degree, I got into design a while ago and haven't written much code or done any leetcode at all. I can still communicate just fine with engineers, I just haven't needed to do hands on coding in a long time. Anyone have experience with the APM Interview at Yelp? What can I expect from this technical challenge?
Don’t freak out - PMs do need CS background in many Yelp teams but the coding ability requirements are pretty minimal. PM me if you have other questions.

Why does a PM need to code? They don't typically code.
PMs in Yelp generally need solid CS background. This holds true for many (not all) teams and technology driven companies.
