Does YouTube Music automatically reject your applications if you have been denied for similar roles in the past? I went for multiple interview rounds for one role years ago which ultimately went to an internal candidate. Feedback was positive. Nevertheless, I have applied for many similar roles since, but cannot even get through to an HR initial screen (despite having an internal referral). They are always quick email rejections often within a day or two.

They reject for many reasons, one of them could be the position is not available for your level. Why don't you try to get into Google first then do an internal transfer
Thanks so much for your reply, that's certainly a possibility. My skill set is quite niche for YouTube music so I haven't found a Google opening that fits without being a big stretch.
