Zillow Engineering Manager Interviews
Going through interviews for an Engineering Manager role @ Zillow - no I'm not actually at Expedia. With little direct management experience, but plenty of team leading, mentoring, & coaching, how can I put the best foot forward? What's expected during first technical phone screen for this type of role and how is it the same/different from an IC screen? The role is basically a perfect fit for my skills, passions and direction, so definitely want to nail the interviews.
The phone interview is likely to focus on your coding skills. You’ll need to clear the sr developer bar to pass. I think you have a shot at this position, based on your self description, so good luck!
Thanks! I don't have a traditional CS background, so leetcoding has always been a challenge, but definitely up for doing my best!
Leetcode is your friend. The more practice you can get the better. Those r the kind of coding problems you’ll see with us.
