If you don’t want your privacy compromised then stay the Hell off of FB. You should have no expectations of privacy there. Your personal data has monetary value. If FB doesn’t use it themselves they will sell it. FB doesn’t care about you, they only care about the cash value of information about you.
To be fair they don’t identify you to advertisers Advertisers pick their target demographics, then you see ads So in that sense, it’s private
