Zurich work visa < 3 YOE
Just wondering if someone got a work visa in Zurich with < 3 YOE. Is it possible?
Anyone got in Google Zurich before 3 yoe? How about other locations of Google in Europe?
No such requirements for Munich and London
But I read, for Google, there is a big difference in packages of London/Munich as compared to Zurich. Is that true?
It seems other offices in Europe are fine. This only affects Zurich office due to local laws.
When was this local law implemented? Few years back a guy joined in Zurich as a fresher.
Law didn't change, authorities always had this leeway to reject folks for lack of experience, and there are no firm numbers in the law. 3 yoe is google's own recent policy change. Probably a cost cutting measure I think

They say “several years of experience”. Since this is an open statement, theoretically it could be anything, hence my original question.
Good question. I also have a masters from an Ivy League college + 2 YOE. Not sure if it’ll be possible tho.
All my current day night hustle and leetcode grind is just for Google Zurich. Willing to join Google Zurich this year itself. Preferring Zurich over other European locations due to difference in TC offered. Hope someone shows a way.
@OP: why are you not targetting US locations? Are you from China?
I’ve originally interviewed in MTV. It is along story, but my recruiter missed the H1B deadline and now they are offering European offices as an alternative. Nope, not Chinese :-)
Aren't they ready to offer you Zurich location?
Many problems happened since I passed the HC. 1) headcount in Zurich is super small. It seems new positions will be open around September, and the start date is December. 2) now, there is this 3 YOE thing. Now I’m on wait mode. Let’s see what will happen in the following months :-)
I have an offer from Google and they are waiting on team matching process until I finish 3yoe. Seems like a pretty rigid requirement.
