Evaluating an offer for P4 role, data engineer, in SF. YOE - 8 Base offered 140k RSU 125k over 4 No sign on Target bonus 10% Current TC 180k Kindly help me in evaluating this offer. No competing offers yet, but are in pipeline
Isn’t that mostly lower or equal to your current TC? I’d say they are lowballing you.

8 yoe and P4?? Did you apply for p5 but they offered you p4? 140k is max base for p4.
I've just finished conversation with my team lead, he said "usually" it takes 2 years to get promotion from P4 to P5. Keep in mind this information
Also bonus and stock refresh is much lower for P4.
