Real estate is where it's at. Do that 5-10 times then you can retire
Yep, did this for many years. Owned in seattle, rented in the bay.
I suggest wait a bit as the 2020 landscape is looking a bit rocky
Just FYI, property in Bay Area is down by 100K
Maybe in outskirts but bat area property is up a few to ten percent this year. Less than years past but unfortunately hasn't dropped and the jan 2020 laws aren't going to help as evictions skyrocket.
TC 150K yes you can afford a small house in San Jose.
That’s the way to do it. If it’s your first property, make sure you are buying in an area you know well or have someone that can look after the place. There are people who can invest for you. DM me for info. Also check out bigger pockets for real estate investment info.
Isn’t that a bit risky to have people invest for you? I hear stories of athletes and musicians losing all their money bc they entrusted it to someone who basically did terrible investments with it
I mean everything is risky haha. Hopefully you don’t pick a bad one. There are people out there who can help you decide on what property to buy and help you manage. You just provide the capital. They should be able to show you their history and current deals.
