cal poly SLO
is anyone familiar with the strength of this schools CS/ Software engineering program? Asking for my cousin who got in and is deciding between Poly and Long Beach. His loans at Poly will be 35k and 20k at Long Beach because he can live with family after first 2 years. Social fit not a concern as he’s a laid back and kind kid, was the class president and 4 year varsity hooper who will fit in well wherever he goes. Goal is to work at a Big N in 4 years. Thanks !

Cal Poly. Hands down, no question. The campus life and engineering program are superior.

Calpoly is better but it can take more than 4 years to graduate because of difficulty of scheduling classes so add this to your calculations.
