choked on water during Facebook phone interview
I literally almost died... and now I wish I did. The interviewer was genuinely worried about me. Her concerned voice as she asked “do ... you want to reschedule.?” just made the pain worse. Don’t drink water and answer questions at the same time. She said she would get back to me on monday after talking internally. This means I didn’t make the cut right? Please be honest.

It happens, don’t worry. Years ago at an Amazon on-site, my interviewer almost choked on the free banana he was having.

I loved the fact that the banana was free. Isn’t that the only free thing they have?
I mean, interviewers are human so you're probably fine. If the choking made it delay the call by 10-15m and you were on mute just leaving her hanging then maybe you didn't handle a normal human interaction appropriately, otherwise I think you're fine.

Nope. Don’t worry. Interviewer would ask different question. Just let your interviewer know you appreciate her for being considerate. Don’t drink water this time :)
