    Yeah, at least half of laid off people in Palo Alto are under 6 months tenure according to my friend. Saving on RSU is one big reason. It’s also better for teams because people with experience can keep system running. Experience folks also have better trust relationship with their managers. So, makes sense from business perspective. But sucks for new hires.
