i am trying to learn more about economics, politics, etc. and i stumbled on this website. does anyone have a used copy of any of these books, please? https://www.sjc.edu/application/files/4115/4810/0934/St_Johns_College_Great_Books_Reading_List.pdf
Dude, get a public library card and get most of the books on this list for free on your phone. Do you know how to open a public library card? Once you have one card from your state, you are eligible to get access to other library systems in your state. For example, I live in DC, and in addition to the district I have access to all is the Virginia libraries and Maryland ones. Houston and Charlotte also allow anyone in the US (regardless of jurisdiction) to get an account and it costs less than $40 a year. I read 120 books a year on average, and I usually end up buying three or four that my public library doesn’t have or that I read but want my own copy. Owning your own copy of a book is overrated.
Agree with this. Reading a hard copy is how I've learned best. You might do better with ebooks, but support your local library! They might have an ebook copy that you can check out for free
@algeroise, thanks for the feedback. I found some at the Baltimore County Public library. Thanks also, @anon_data
