does google share levels in background check
my friend in googe is e4. he wants to join fb and claims that he is e5 at google. will he be in trouble during background check?
I don’t think so. Company’s only disclose (if at all anything) the title and dates of employment for litigation fears.
The title disclosure is what's in question...
Sometimes a background check will include salary. I had this happen before.

Most companies have a 1800 number for employment verification. Just call it and you will find out one way or another.
now fb hr has a signal from blind...they know what to look for...so yes...he may be in trouble

Should be fine. I’d say it could be trouble if Google verified as “Senior Software Engineer” for L5, but my FB background check with employers only included dates, NOT titles.
