got the following offer for Expedia Bellevue(moving to Seattle end of year) Base 175 annual bonus target: 17.5% signon: 120 over 2 years RSUs: 55k over 4 years TC: ~250/yr for 4 years (higher TC years 1/2) YOE 9 thoughts? good offer? any negotiation room?
It is a very good offer for a Sr sde at Expedia. Of course you can make much more at Amazon but you will also work a lot more there.
Seems like the group (lodging) might be high pressure?
Yes when compared to other groups at Expedia. Promo velocity is also higher in lodging.
Ditto what hadoopexp said - Iāve heard that Expedia pay is akin to a basic economy seat.
What about benefits Expedia vs amazon? The recruiter says 3 weeks plus 10 holidays a year to start, seems okay. The 401k match has a 2 year vesting !
They have unlimited vacation even though recruiter says 3 weeks. It all depends on manager. The offer looks pretty good for Sr SDE

Great offer for Expedia. Itās unlimited vacation...some a-hole managers will tell you itās only three weeks but the policy is kept vague for that reason.
Thats a fantastic offer for Expedia. I just got an Amazon Senior SDE offer and it's marginally less than your Expedia offer. With the flexible vacation and other benefits it's a piece of cake. And cannot beat the WLB

Without other competing offers the one I was given is not bad.

Recruiter said they donāt usually do RSUs on offers? Havenāt been able to see many Expedia offers on here to know if thatās the norm or not
Itās the norm. I think Sr SDE/Mgr are level M and just start to get RSUs
