so i passed the initial screening with FB then had the app critique with portfolio review, the recruiter reached out and the team wants to set up another 45 minute portfolio review as they were not able to get the signal they needed to make a final decision on next steps. anyone ever been in this situation? and know what they might be looking for? im assuming theyre just unsure wether i would be a good fit still.

I assume you’re a borderline case. They wanna make sure they wouldn’t waste time for the onsite. It’s hard to say what they’re looking for without seeing your portfolio. Is the role in the HQ office?
Yes they need more context to make sure you and them don’t waste each other’s time. Take the interview and show them that you can and have done good Product Design work, good luck!
Well I didn’t give a preference, it was open for Menlo, NY, or Seattle. Spoke to the team from Seattle though, so they may be steering me that direction as it’s the newest campus from what I understand
