Anthropologie (though their quality keeps falling somewhere south)

Aritzia and Everlane for basics and silk

NextDirect, Joules, Boden, Yoox for European clothes

Lingerie and hosiery is a separate topic. It's hard to find feminine and of a good quality clothes here. So I mostly shop when I travel home.

I never worked with an Indian woman that gave a damn about their clothes. Seems like whatever will do. Even sandals in the blistering cold is fine 🤷‍♀️

No time to browse so personal shopper at nordstrom. Best thing ever. The service is free and she knows exactly what to get me and puts together my outfits.

For the most part, I have stopped shopping for clothes. It was a gradual frustration with owning a lot that made me stopped completely. I realised I have clothes that will last me decades without going out of fashion or old (most of them bought in India so the fabric holds up)

That said, if I were to need something I’d totally avoid HnM, Forever21 and the likes. I spend a little and get something that will hold up against time. I also check out Ross for some budget shopping.

This is kind of a non-answer. Sorry 😐 if it doesn’t help at all.

Been appreciating Zara more now that.. I am a bit over spending lots of money on fashion, now have more mouths to feed. My co-worker recently told me about https://www.oakandfort.com/womens
Can't believe I didn't know about this precious brand until now!!!

I recently starting shopping on Amazon for my clothes - I was tired of my wardrobe of just jeans and tech fair t-shirts. I recommend knowing what your body shape and measurements are beforehand, though. Only buy things that have customer images with folks that seem to have your same body shape. :)
