give up on google?
been in host matching for winter 2020 internship for 5 weeks now with no interviews. declined offers from uber, lyft, amazon, bloomberg in hopes of google is there a chance for me to get matched or did i fuck up big anyone at google please interview mešš i already have citadel/fb for summer/fall. why doesnt google love me
If it's not too late try to see if you can get those offers back. Make a story up and get recruiters to want to give it back.
What if I get google. reject, ask for offer, reneg. Blacklisted for sure?
That's a risk you should take. For full time host matching eventually works out but I know so many friends who got screwed over for internship. Also, I know a bunch of people who reneged but never got blacklisted, especially if it's a big company because you would probably be reached out by another recruiter. But still, it's all risk and you have to decide what you are okay with, even try to pressure Google recruiter to give you an answer.
Hey I never got matched. Mine was summer internship, cleared Google in Jan end & didn't got team match! This was 2017. I did same mistake as you, declined other offers. I did an internship at some local company then š
Damn that sucks... why does google have to be like this?
I got ditched by Google twice. During internship and now they scheduled L3 interview then they canceled it by saying no more L3 headcount!

As an intern I did not get matched at G. Interviewed later as full time
Call back opportunities and beg to get one
It's always safer to accept another offer and then renege on it if you get Google.
If you really want to get matched, just say you want to work on ads.
