i had a phone interview today and the interviewer ended the call with “good luck on your future interviews” ? edit: i got the feedback, they asked me for a second phone interview
You know when I was first semester into college, I got an interview at Apple, I screwed up the lc easy follow-up, I asked the engineer: “Can you give me a hint on this problem? How would I improve the run time?”, what did he say? He said “let me give you a hint on all of your interviews: use hashmap. ”
Every sad story has a hashmap
Let’s learn from this okay? Next time when he’s like “How are you? Why don’t you tell me something about yoursel—” “hashmap! I said fking hashmap!”
I got the feedback today, they want to schedule me for a second phone interview. They said it was good but not perfect.
